All this talk of Halloween has made me realize that I need to hurry up and decide what I want to dress up as. Because I'm going to dress up, that's a given. I don't care if I'm 28. Doesn't mean I can't have fun!
But I'm not coming up with anything good. I could always just go for the Mean Girls rule. "It's the one day a year where a girl can look like a slut, and nobody can say anything about it." Only thing is, I'm a bartender. Guys are already grabby enough. Maybe that day I can just make sure to stay behind the bar. I'm not going to let them ruin my fun.

I'm one of those people who can't stay in one spot for very long. It's half the reason why I joined the crew of this ship. And for a while there, I thought that I might get tired of this ship too. Not because we don't see absolutely amazing things, but because it's still going to work in the same spot. If that makes sense.
I've been here for eight months, and I don't think I plan to leave any time soon. I also have a lot more reason to stay rather than leave now. I've seen so many coworkers come and go, but I'm still here. I don't know. I just thought it was weird.
Someone asked me how long I'd been with the Serendipity, and once I did the math and answered, I was a little surprised at myself. I'm happy with my decision to stay with it though.
